Welcome to El Dorado Community Acupuncture
El Dorado Community Acupuncture provides acupuncture treatments by donation. The suggested donation is $25 – $50 per treatment. Please pay what you can, no questions asked. All acupuncture treatments are individualized to meet your needs, and are performed in a relaxing small group space. Chairs and tables are currently spaced over six feet apart, with a maximum of 7 patients in the clinic at a time. All patients and the practitioner are currently required to wear masks. The soothing atmosphere in our clinic exists because all of our patients create it by relaxing together. We appreciate everyone’s presence! This kind of collective stillness is a rare and precious thing in our rushed and busy society. In order to make our community treatment room enjoyable for everyone please observe the following courtesies: turn cell phones off in the treatment room, keep voices low, and avoid wearing scented products which can trigger allergic reactions in many people.
Patients with symptoms of acute illness are not permitted to enter the clinic. EDCA does not provide acute or emergency care. In addition, anyone entering the clinic is required to wear a mask that covers the nose and mouth for the full duration of the treatment. Patients may not enter the clinic if they have had a positive Covid test or a known Covid exposure within the past 14 days. Your cooperation helps to protect the more vulnerable members of our community- thank you!
As always, I am making every effort to ensure that the clinic environment is safe and clean. Hand sanitizer is available throughout the clinic and there is a hand washing station outside the restroom. Linens are changed for every patient, and all frequently touched surfaces are being cleaned regularly. Chairs and tables have been spaced more than six feet apart, and I have multiple air filters running to ensure good ventilation.
Pay what you can, no questions asked.
We will NEVER make you prove your income level or justify your payment amount. El Dorado Community Acupuncture does not receive grants, state or federal money, or insurance reimbursement. We exist because patients pay for their treatments – it is a sustainable, local, community-supported business model and we hope you are as proud as we are to be a part of it.
We accept cash, checks, and all major credit cards. You can also pay in advance by PayPal to email@example.com.
